Applications in Cosmetics
Product: Ora-pro-nóbis, Saffron and white clay mask
The mask with the blend of ora-pro-nóbis, saffron and white clay is a powerful ally for acne-prone, oily and dehydrated skins, due to its superficial peeling function. Lyophilized ora-pro-nóbis is rich in proteins promoting hydration and skin healing, saffron is responsible for attributing bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant functions to the blend and white clay has phytoactives that promote the lightening of stains and uniformity of skin tone
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon (12 g) of white clay.
- 1 teaspoon (4g) of lyophilized ora-pro-nóbis.
- 1 teaspoon (4g) of saffron.
- 1/2 tablespoon (7ml) of mineral water or saline solution.
Preparation:
Mix the ingredients in a container. Slowly add the liquid and stir until you reach the desired consistency. Apply to the face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it act on the face for 10 to 15 minutes. For added safety, test the mask on a small area of the wrist and observe if there is an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in the formula.
Product: Handmade Açái Soap with Ora-pro-nóbis
Handmade soap with the blend of açaí and ora-pro-nóbis is a powerful ally for dehydrated and blemished skins, as they provide properties that generate superficial peeling. Açaí has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, thus helping in cell regeneration, promoting skin hydration and reducing blemishes. Ora-pro-nóbis has a high protein value, thus promoting anti-inflammatory and healing action, reducing small lesions caused on the skin.
Ingredients:
- 500g of white or transparent glycerin base.
- 15 ml of soap essence of your choice.
- 1 tablespoon (12g) of açaí powder.
- 1 tablespoon (12g) of ora-pro-nóbis.
- 1 cosmetic dye preferably green or purple.
Important tools:
- Enamelled pan.
- Silicone spatula.
- Silicone molds.
Preparation:
Cut the glycerin into cubes and place in the enameled pan, take it to the stove and mix with a silicone spatula (it does not melt or interfere with the composition of the glycerin). Wait for the mixture to melt completely, so that the glycerin does not boil. Wait about five minutes to start adding the components. After cooling, add the essence and then the açaí and the freeze-dried ora-pro-nóbis, mix well to obtain a uniform soap. Put the handmade soap in the silicone form and a cloth on top, let it dry naturally in a dry and airy place. Once dry, you can unmold it and it will be ready to use.
Product: Homemade moisturizer with Ora-pro-nóbis
The homemade body moisturizer with the ora-pro-nóbis blend is a powerful ally for dehydrated and injured skins, due to its superficial peeling and great healing. Lyophilized ora-pro-nóbis is rich in protein promoting good hydration and wound healing.
Ingredients:
- 100g of shea butter.
- 100ml of coconut oil.
- 100g of cocoa butter.
- 100ml of almond oil.
- 2 tablespoons (24g) of ora-pro-nóbis.
Preparation:
Mix the ingredients in a container, then take it to the bain-marie, stirring gently until it is melted and homogenized. Take it to the fridge and let it rest for five hours, when the mixture is hardened, hit the blender until it has a consistency similar to whipped cream. Apply to the body, and for more safety, test the moisturizer on a small area of the wrist and observe if there is an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients of the formula.
Product: Enhance Hair Mask with the Ora-pro-nóbis blend
The hair mask enriched with the ora-pro-nóbis blend is a great proposal for those who want to further enhance the hydration mask. Ora-pro-nóbis has a high protein value, consequently, acting directly on hair hydration and bringing softness and shine to the hair.
Ingredients:
- 50g of the hair mask of your choice.
- 1 teaspoon (4g) of lyophilized ora-pro-nóbis.
Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients in a container, after homogenizing them, apply to the hair. Let it act for 15 minutes and rinse with running water removing all the residue from the mixture. For more safety, perform the strand test and observe if there is an allergic reaction.
Product: Bitter and strengthening nail base with Jambú, Ora-pro-nóbis and garlic
The nail base with the combination of jambú, ora-pro-nóbis and garlic is a good ally for those who want to stop biting their nails due to the strong sensations aroused, such as the mouth tremor caused by jambu and the bitter taste of garlic. In addition, ora-pro-nóbis is rich in protein value, consequently, causing the strengthening and growth of nails.
Ingredients:
- 1 base (7ml) of your preferred nail polish.
- 1 clove of crushed garlic.
- 1 teaspoon (4g) of freeze-dried jambu.
- 1 teaspoon (4g) of lyophilized ora-pro-nóbis.
Preparation:
Add the garlic, jambú and freeze-dried ora-pro-nóbis inside the glaze and let it rest for 24 hours so that the ingredients refine and the flavor becomes more intense. Apply the nail polish to your nail and let it dry.

The natural Chicory exfoliator is a great proposal for those who want to eliminate dead cells from the face, in addition to preventing acne, it has an antibacterial function, consequently obtaining a smoother and more uniform skin.
